I believe that the first step to helping individuals embark upon the journey of change is an unconditional acceptance for who they are. Only when one is able to acknowledge and connect without judgment, to the thoughts and emotions that characterize one's inner world, can the process of achieving one's full potential truly begin.
People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying,
"Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner." I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.

When I first visited Shweta, I was in dire need of someone who would listen to the words I couldn't say. She is a great listener and has the ability to turn your emotions into words. Through these sessions, I learned a lot about how to deal with my issues. Also, I learned a lot about myself. Shweta was the guiding light in the darkness and now, I think I found my way.
When I came to Shweta, I was functioning well on the outside but inside, there was a steady decline that I knew I needed to address. From the first meeting, I felt comfortable and confident. With her intuition and kind words, she assisted in a perspective change and ultimately helped me to reach resolution and invoke action to heal old wounds. The resources provided to me are invaluable.
I used to suffer from a debilitating writer's block and an inferiority complex, which would often cause me to put myself in physical danger. I needed someone to listen to me and take me seriously. Shweta's patience and keen questions, and the insight I received from my own answers to them, caused me to seriously reorient my goals and desires to more healthy ones. I still have a long way to go, but I'm well on my way.
I am very satisfied with my experience in counselling. Shweta was calm and a good listener. She was actually good at making me understand my situation better. I feel like I know how to tackle my problems now and I'm able to manage my anger well. Many of my colleagues are happy that I went for counselling because they can see that I have started to change.
